Art and material culture

With financial aid from the Hulsewé-Wazniewski-Stichting (HWS, Hulsewé-Wazniewski Foundation), the Stichting Visuele Presentatie van de Chinese Geschiedenis (Foundation for the Visual Representation of Chinese History) of the late Prof. Eric Zürcher and the Faculty of Humanities (previously Faculty of Arts), the East Asian Library acquired a large collection of books on art and material culture.

(Part of ) this extensive collection is accessible in a specially created Art Room or Kunstkamer, which also has a scanner. If you are interested in this collection, or in using the art room or the other art books, please go to the East Asian Library main desk. (more…)
