Pre-1949 journals

The East Asian Library has a large collection of journals from the Chinese Imperial (before 1911) and Republican periods (1912-1949). A large part of these journals are accessible on microfilm or microfiche and can be searched from the paper card catalogue in the East Asian Library’s Green Room.

Some of the journals can be searched in the library online catalogue through this link: journals from the Imperial period / republican journals = pre-1949 journals in the East Asian Library.
